| Currently assistant professor of
tuba and euphonium at Wichita State University, Phillip Black has
also taught at Flint Institute and the University of New Mexico.
Among his many playing credentials are Wichita Symphony Orchestra,
Wichita Brass Quintet, Flint Symphony Orchestra, Galliard Brass
Ensemble, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, New Mexico Sympony and New
Mexico Brass Quintet. In addition, he has appeared on recordings
on the Musical Heritage Society while performing with the Galliard
Brass Quintet. He holds a bachelor of music from Ball State University
and a master of music from the University of New Mexico. |
